Terms for the MakeFit iPhone app

What the app is

MakeFit is a wellness and fitness iPhone app built around on-device analysis of Apple Health and Apple Watch data. It may include a Body Age breakdown, workout tracking, optional community features, synced workout notes, and subscription-based premium features.

No medical advice

MakeFit is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The app is for general wellness, education, and fitness insight only. Always use your own judgment and consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns.

Eligibility and acceptable use

You may use MakeFit only if you can legally agree to these terms and only in compliance with applicable law. You agree not to interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, misuse community features, or use the app to harm others or violate their rights.

Sign-in and accounts

Some features require Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for keeping your Apple account secure and for the accuracy of any information you provide.

Subscriptions

MakeFit may offer auto-renewable subscriptions through the App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple account, subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date, and billing, cancellation, and refunds are also subject to Apple's own rules. You can manage your subscription in your Apple account settings.

Apple Health and permissions

If you grant permission, the app reads health and fitness data from Apple Health to generate insights, scores, trends, and recommendations. Raw Apple Health data is processed primarily on device. Some optional features may send related or derived summary values off device, as described in the App Privacy Policy. If you deny or revoke permissions, some features may be limited.

Community and sharing features

The app may offer optional community, messaging, leaderboard, or sharing features. If you use them, display names, avatars, and summary metrics may be shared with our systems and with other users so those features can work. You are responsible for what you post or share and may not use these features for unlawful, abusive, harmful, or infringing content or behavior.

Workout notes and synced content

The app may let you create workout notes. If sync is enabled, note content may be stored in your private iCloud storage. You are responsible for the content you create and sync.

Intellectual property

The MakeFit app, branding, software, copy, design, and related materials are owned by Cronian Labs or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable license to use the app for personal use.

Availability and changes

We may improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the app at any time. We do not guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted or error-free, or that scores, estimates, or recommendations will always be accurate or suitable for your situation.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cronian Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Ending access

We may suspend or end access to all or part of the app if we believe you violated these terms, misused the service, or created risk for us or others. You may stop using MakeFit at any time.
